I love Hayao Miyazaki's work. He's so awesome and inspiring.
You can tell by the coloring that I wasn't too picky, I was just having fun with it. I thought it would be cool and interesting to mix some of the characters! It was just going to be a doodle at first, but then a lot of time went by, lol.. I was going to only draw girls but I just had to squeeze Markl in there. :3 I forgot Pazu from Castle In The Sky... The characters are: Kiki and Jiji - Kiki's Delivery Service Mei, Satsuki, Totoro, Chu Totoro, and Chibi Totoro - My Neighbor Totoro Markl, Turniphead, and Calcifur- Howl's Moving Castle Kudamas - Princess Mononoke Chihiro, Bird, Mouse, and No Face - Spirited Away Taeko - Only Yesterday Sheeta - Castle In The Sky Setsuko - Grave Of The Fireflies (I had fun drawing her.) I was listening to anime soundtracks and Walzer Dei Fiori composed by Tchaikowsky (trust me, you've heard it) while drawing this. ALL characters owned by Ghibli Studios! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
